- Very happy that my Urtexts arrived yesterday! I will pick them up on Monday...Mozart sonatas and Bach Well-Tempered Clavier Book II...some nice reading for the summer! :)
- Have recently picked up my long-forgotten volume of Emily Dickinson's complete poems...there are so many of them! She's such a genius.
- My first year of university is almost done! Should I be happy or sad? Both!
- Currently writing an essay about the nature of reality for philosophy...
- Successfully secured a somewhat realistic schedule for next year...thank goodness the university opens up new sections everyday or I'd be stressed out of my mind!
- Waiting for the March blizzards to clear...
- Excited to be able to volunteer in the summer with music therapy and also performing for the senior home...miss being able to be a musician and not a science student...
- Practicing Mozart and Haydn...Mozart especially is SO difficult to play. Not technically, but achieving my personal "Mozart touch" is so tricky...either I'm tip-toing on eggshells or sounding like an elephant in a daisy field...doesn't feel "right" yet.
- Have been listening to Keith Jarrett play Bach...very fascinating...considering buying his Shostakovich Preludes and Fugues soon...
- Very satisfied with Dessay's Lucia! Hoping she stops singing these meaty bel canto roles and returns to something lighter...dare I suggest...Schubert lieder? WHY does she hate doing concert repertoire? :( Read she was considering doing Vivaldi motets back in the day...
- Reading de Beauvoir for philosophy...fascinating woman and thoughts...
- Final exams are coming!!
- Trying not to kill my brother over his bad scale fingering. (Need to remember he's only 8!)
- Trying to wrap up 365 Sonnets...?

Each one salutes me as he goes,
And I my childish plumes
Lift, in bereaved acknowledgement
Of their unthinking drums.
