Happy April Fool's Day, everyone! Today I'm going to share a story about my twin...we were both born on August 7th in the same year. Factoring in a time zone difference, we're twins down to the same hour! And in Grade 12, we had the exact same semester...
Once she told me a very interesting story about her parents. They met in high school too and decided to go out on a first date together. Guess what day it was? April Fool's!
They were talking on their first date and her dad said that his birthday was on that day.
Her mom was like, "No...you're playing an April Fool's joke on me..."
Then he's like, "No...it actually is..."
And then she was like, "No way...MY birthday is on April Fool's too!"
And of course he thought that she was pulling his leg now...
Anyway, it turns out that both my twin's parents have their birthdays on April 1st. It's just funny that they happened to have their first date on April Fool's!
So yes, coincidences do happen, and sometimes reality is a lot stranger than a practical joke!
