Apple launched their "Genius" feature a while ago, which creepily gathers info about your music library and gives you recommendations based on it. When it first started up, "Genius" was pretty retarded actually. I heard that initially even songs by the Beatles drew up a blank?
Well, I listen to stuff that's shockingly more obscure than the Beatles, so not a single song in my music library came up with anything. Henryk Szeryng? Glenn Gould? Natalie Dessay? Johnny Hollow? As if!
Fast forward a few years later...it's so much smarter now!
I don't use the recommendation feature, which suggests music for you to buy (because I'm cheap like that)...but the Genius Mixes and stuff like that are pretty functional now! I'm impressed.
Genius has automatically made two randomized "mixes" called "Opera Mix" and "Classical Instrumental Mix" for me. Pretty clever!
And when I click on the genius button on my songs, quite a few are able to be built into customized "Genius" playlists. Not bad!
So as a classicalmusicophile, I'm pretty impressed that Genius is able to accommodate my esoteric musical tastes...and hopefully it gets even smarter with time!

Each one salutes me as he goes,
And I my childish plumes
Lift, in bereaved acknowledgement
Of their unthinking drums.
